Susan Nimnuan, Owner & Senior Care Consultant

Susan Nimnuan is a seasoned healthcare executive, consultant, and aging-care advocate with nearly two decades of experience leading organizations, developing programs, and supporting seniors and their families through every stage of aging. Her career reflects a rare blend of operational leadership, strategic vision, and deep personal commitment to compassionate care.

Susan comes from a multi-generational family of healthcare leaders, where service, integrity, and leadership were not just professions, but values lived every day. Her grandfather, Raymond E. Parks, MD, was a respected radiologist, and her grandmother, Marjorie Parks, served as a dedicated nurse. On the administrative and leadership side of healthcare, both her grandfather Richard Stull and her father Richard Stull served as hospital CEOs and were long-standing members of the American College of Healthcare Executives. Their impact on healthcare leadership continues today through the Annual ACHE Richard J. Stull Student Essay Competition in Healthcare Management, an award named in their honor.

This legacy profoundly shaped Susan’s path and instilled in her a deep respect for both clinical excellence and strong healthcare leadership.

A Career Built...

A Career Built on Leadership and Innovation

Susan’s professional journey includes more than twelve years with BrightStar Care, where she grew from an entry-level scheduling role into the position of Vice President for BrightStar Care of Naples and Fort Myers. During her tenure, she led operations, sales, marketing, and program development while working closely with caregivers, clinicians, executives, and families.

Beyond her local leadership role, Susan collaborated extensively with BrightStar Care’s corporate team, contributing to the development and launch of multiple pilot programs and national initiatives. Her work helped shape operational models, clinical programs, and innovative approaches that were later scaled across the organization.

Susan’s leadership was especially visible during times of crisis. She played a critical role in hurricane response efforts, pandemic leadership, and community outreach initiatives, including coordinating COVID-19 testing and vaccination efforts when home care was often overlooked. Her work during these periods was featured on local and national media outlets and highlighted in multiple regional and industry publications, recognizing her commitment to doing what was right for patients, caregivers, and the community.

Her Why: Where Experience Meets Purpose

Despite her leadership roles and professional accomplishments, Susan’s passion for aging care is rooted in people, not titles.
Throughout her career, she has walked beside families during some of the most emotional and uncertain moments of their lives. She has seen how overwhelming aging can become when systems are fragmented, communication is unclear, and families are left to navigate complex decisions alone.

At the same time, she has worked closely with professionals and organizations who care deeply but are often stretched thin, reacting to challenges instead of being supported by strong systems and thoughtful strategy.

Susan recognized a powerful truth: families and professionals are not on opposite sides of the aging journey. They are deeply connected, and both deserve guidance, clarity, and support.

SWFL Aging Solutions was created from that belief.

Her Why:
A Commitment...

A Commitment to Guiding the Journey and Elevating the Experience

Susan founded SWFL Aging Solutions to bring everything she has learned into one place. A place where families feel supported instead of overwhelmed. A place where professionals feel empowered instead of reactive. A place where aging is approached with dignity, leadership, and compassion.

Her commitment is simple but unwavering:
to guide families with clarity and care,
to strengthen organizations through leadership and strategy,
and to elevate the entire aging experience for everyone involved.

Whether she is advising a senior-care organization, navigating care decisions with a family, or developing innovative solutions for the future of aging, Susan leads with integrity, purpose, and heart.

Guiding the Journey. Elevating the Experience.
